MAYBERRY ELEMENTARY MURAL: THE DOCUMENTATION
PLACEMENT OF MURAL ELEMENTS

The magician was the first element to be mosaicked by the elementary children. It measures 10ft in height and is elevated in the finished mural to reach a height of 14ft. It is composed of approximately 50 sections.
        

The installation surface slants from 14 ft to 5ft over a width of 72 linear ft. The waves had to be positioned with extreme accuracy for the whole design to work. How each wave began its journey from the magician's wand was a crucial factor.

           

Here the artist lays out these finished elements to get an idea as to how many more may be needed to fill the length of the wall.
